When I first met Ice, she was extremely flighty and scared. Once she realized humans weren’t her enemies, she accepted me within the first hour. On day 2 of training, she followed me around, I took off her tag, and she decided to trust me. From then on, training has progressed beyond my expectations. We started saddling, working on obstacles, and riding all within the first week. When I teach her a new skill, it usually takes three sessions for it to sink in. Trust was only an issue on day one. Since then, she trusts and tries to understand. If she is uncomfortable, she hesitates but works through it. She is the most willing, kind, patient horse I have ever worked with. She is friendly with new people and has been on many local outings. To date she walks, trots, and canters under saddle without warmup; leads and loads without question; pivots, stops, backs up, rides through a curtain, side passes, bows, and loves to get on the pedestal. She allows her feet to be trimmed, and she has been ridden on trails. I am hoping to offer you the best mustang I can.
