DESCRIPTION: Approximate Height in Hands – 14hh
Ranger, a four-year-old gelding from the Shawave Mountains HMA, was gathered in September 2020. Throughout his training, he has never offered to strike, bite, or be aggressive in any way. He is a fast learner and does what he is asked willingly. His 'ho-hum' personality will make him a great trail horse. Although, with that personality comes some pushiness which requires a firm rider. He ground ties well, stands for the farrier, goes over trail obstacles, rides well at all speeds, loads in a trailer, has been ridden bareback, and has a solid groundwork foundation. Ranger is soft in the face and sensitive to the leg. I know he will make an excellent horse for someone looking for a partner to go on a trail ride.
