DESCRIPTION: Approximate Height in Hands – 13.2 hh

Gunpowder and Lead, aka “Molly” is a personable 13.2h 4yo mare who everyone loves to ride and work around. She is gentle on the ground and fun and safe under saddle. She is not a lazy horse and has great work ethic, though she isn’t all “go, go, go” either. She settles into new places great and has been hauled all over and shown several times. She self loads, ties, cross ties, bathes, will stand to be groomed for hours, trail rides alone or with others, and will buckle down for tedious arena work. She has been ridden English and western and excels over fences. Ride her with or without a spur, she’s great either way. She has been over cross country jumps as well as stadium/hunter type fences and courses. While her flying changes aren’t polished and pretty, she does them cleanly without much fuss and with a little more practice, she will have easy, pretty changes. She can test a rider on occasion and because of that combined with her age and experience, I would recommend an intermediate-experienced rider for her. With a few more miles under capable riders, Molly would make a wonderful kid’s pony or lesson pony. She is ready to go in whatever direction anyone would want to take her whether it be a trail/pleasure type horse or a hunter/jumper or eventing/dressage show horse.
