DESCRIPTION: Approximate Height in Hands – 14.1hh
Maia is a bay mare from the Eagle, NV HMA. She is timid at first but warms up to you when she knows you’re her person. She’s very food motivated so don’t underestimate the power of a treat! She’ll be your best friend if you have food in your hand. Maia has been a tough cookie and took a while to warm up to people, so she’s currently only had a handful of rides completed. She will need an experienced horse person to continue her training. Maia can yield her hind quarters and is getting better at moving her shoulders. She knows how to free lunge and turn in. Maia stands tied every time I get her out of her pen and can be easily caught in a field. She also stands for fly spray and picks up all four feet.
