DESCRIPTION: Approximate Height in Hands – 14.2 hh
Dorada is a GORGEOUS 6yr old mare from the Devils Garden HMA. She’s stout and stands at about 14.2hh! Dorada is a sweet mare with a good heart and wants to please. She walks, trots, lopes, stops and backs in the round pen. Dorada is still learning to side pass, pivot, back up better. Dorada has not yet been rode on our busy streets of Norco, CA, but she will be very soon! She has however been ponied all over our busy streets and has done very well! Busy traffic does not seem to bother her at all! Dorada will also cross a bridge and is learning to stand on the pedestal and cross the tarp. Dorada does tie, and is decent for a bath but will sometimes set back in our tight wash rack. She picks up her feet and loads in the trailer. She saddles, brushes and fly sprays with no drama. Dorada is a kind mare, but can be a bit standoffish at first unless of course you have a cookie or her favorite… WATERMELON! Dorada is forward moving and would probably do best in an experienced home. Dorada tries real hard! But needs her very own special person! She might do well in ranch riding, dressage, speed events just about every thing you could imagine. Dorada currently has about 15 rides on her and we are sure we will make continued forward progress.
