DESCRIPTION: Approximate Height in Hands – 14.1 hh
Harley Quinn is the first Mustang that I have trained. I took things slower with Harley than I do with normal horses and I believe this fit her style better. It took her 2 weeks to eat feed and 3 weeks to be comfortable being caught. One thing that Harley has instilled in her is to try. I gave to her slightest try at the beginning and she has yet to refuse anything without at least a small try. Harley has only been ridden western, but she is well accustomed to a tight back cinch. You can easily pick up all 4 feet and she has been trimmed a couple of times by me. She was a champ at having her teeth floated. All in all Harley has had 60 training days and 35 under saddle rides. With that in mind I believe she has de extremely well. She will need a very confident rider to continue her education. She does enjoy trail rides and has been ridden out alone and in groups. She likes to see new trails and does not care for it when you double back. She trailers really well as I hauled her to Texas and Back.
